- If you get propositioned, just reply with "I got shit to do" and keep walking
- Walk with a sense of purpose even if lost. Always have somewhere to be, and act like it. People who meander are the ones who get harassed and/or mugged

- Get an umbrella with wind vents.
- If you see a sign that says "beware of pickpockets" do not instinctively pat the pocket with your wallet. Usually the sign is out there by the pickpockets to see where your wallet is.
